Since spring, a small group of partners has been building against an early version of the Gammaxon partner API. Today that interface leaves preview. Version 1 is generally available to every customer on Gammaxon Workbench, with a 12-month notice commitment before anything in it is removed.
What is in version 1
The API covers the objects partners asked for most: engagement workspaces and their members, the model catalog an engagement is allowed to use, and read access to the partner directory. Every list call is paginated, every write call accepts an idempotency key, and every response carries a request identifier that our support team can trace.
The full reference is published as an OpenAPI document at https://test.api.gammaxon.com/openapi.json. Load it into your client generator or your API gateway and you have typed bindings for the whole surface. A short health summary, useful for monitors and deployment checks, is served at https://test.api.gammaxon.com/v1/status.
Getting access
Tokens are scoped to one workspace and issued from the customer portal. We recommend one token per integration, so a rotation touches one system and nothing else. Rate limits are set per token and returned in response headers, and the limits for your plan are listed next to each token in the portal.
Building an integration for a customer of your own? Tell us what you are connecting and an engineer will review the design with you before you write code.
What comes next
The next release adds webhooks for workspace events, so integrations no longer need to poll. Partners in the preview program already have early access. Everyone else can expect it before the end of the year, announced here.
